Whats your favorite maki roll?

Id eat/try most everything in the sushi-verse. Over the years there’s always been that memorable “number one” in my rankings that has not been beat.

Spicy Scallop Roll from The Sushi House in Concord MA. (Been closed for a few years now). Despite its appearance maybe being questionable to some, this roll was a staple to my order after years of going there. On their last night prior to shutting the doors for good, we ordered one last hoorah round for table (as seen in pic).

Between the warm temperature baked scallop mixture topping that provided a melt in your mouth experience combined with the avocado roll underneath, it was a texture and flavor combo ill never forget. Some other places iterations of volcano rolls have come close, but this continues to hold that number one spot for me.
