Cook low for 3 ½ hours
• 350 g beef sirloin, sliced or cubed
• 200 g mushrooms, sliced
• 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 cup hot chicken broth
• 1 tsp soy sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
• 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/8 teaspoon sugar
• 2 tbsp salted butter, sliced
• 1 tablespoon flour
Cook high for another 30 mins
• 150 g uncooked egg noodles, add 1/2 cup hot water
Cook low for another 15 mins
• 1/2 cup sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Almost the same recipe that I use. I use beef broth instead of chicken.

Why hot chicken broth? Wondering if I can use broth straight from fridge. Also, I bought ground lamb on sale. I may try with the lamb. Anyone think that should turn out tasty too?
