I really wanted a ceramic egg cooker. Not really set on a specific brand. I searched every HD within a 6 hour drive radius for the Classic Joe II deal, nothing.
Logged into wife’s FB account to scour marketplace. Dude was selling two different ones locally. A large and an XL. I sat on my hands too long and the large sold. Figured it wasn’t in the cards.
He had the XL sit for a week+. I made an offer and we came to a deal. Picked it up today.
XL BGE with stand, Conveggtor, Eggspander, pizza stones, ash basket and cover for $750!!!! I still can’t believe it. He was super nice and helpful too when I picked it up, explaining how to put it back together and said to hit him up if I had questions.
Rolling away on some pork belly burnt ends right now. I think I figured out how to control the temp after it got away from me for a little bit lol.

I just replied to a post today asking what is one thing I’ve bought that I now swear by and the egg was my answer. 15+ years in on mine and it’s as important as my kitchen oven.
