I've been wanting to try this place since seeing it mentioned in an Eater LA article earlier this year (and I've included the writeup and picture from that article, which I screenshotted at the time, here as the third and fourth pictures in case anyone is curious. At the very least, their picture of the skewers is better than mine!).

Went out tonight with the aim of trying the skewers, decided to try the beef tongue steak as well.

The portion size of the steak wasn't great considering the cost, but both it and the skewers were very tasty. They also both came to the table quite hot. In the case of the steak, they used a pair of shears to cut it up into pieces that could be managed with chopsticks after bringing it over, which was a nice touch. I'm sure you could get a spoon, fork, and knife if you asked, of course.

They definitely had other good-looking stuff on their menu, too, and just based on the taste of these items, I'd venture that the other options are worth trying for anyone who may be curious.

I got there when they opened (5PM) and didn't have a problem getting a seat. But, they did ask first if I had a reservation, which leads me to think that the article probably had the right idea that they get busy quickly, so a reservation may be the smart way to go.
