These are my first attempts at decorating cookies. Should I start selling or keep to practicing?

I think you have a lot of basics down nicely already, but there is room for making things look more professional and polished imo. I would use this holiday season to ruthlessly practice on family and friends! I gave away dozens and dozens of cookie boxes the first fall/winter I started decorating and there is a very noticeable difference in my skill when I go back and look at pics from November-January of that period. You can really refine what you’re doing and get a good sense of how really selling cookies would go by making gifts for friends!

Keep practicing. They are cute, but do not look professional.

These are beautiful, and I’ve been practicing since February

I don’t think anyone is ready to sell after their first few attempts, but these are great first attempts! Keep it up!

I personally found that selling my cookies made me drastically improve way faster than just making cookies for myself. Getting orders pushed my limits and gave me techniques to do that I had never tried! You have a really good basis for your cookies. You could practice a bit more, or just start selling! I started selling after my 7th attempt. Make sure to take really professional looking photos of these cookies and any others you make!
