Europa Village is going all-in on holiday programming this year, and if you’re looking for an excuse to drive up to Temecula for something beyond just wine tasting, they’ve given you about six good reasons.
This multi-winery resort spread across 40 acres of rolling hills and vineyards is transforming into a European-inspired holiday destination with everything from igloo dining to an outdoor Nutcracker performance. It’s the kind of seasonal lineup that actually justifies making multiple trips.
Igloo Dining Is Back
Temecula’s first Holiday Igloo Dining returns at Giardino del Cielo at Vienza, and these private igloos fit up to eight people for a two-hour Italian family-style feast.
Executive Chef Hany Ali put together a prix-fixe menu featuring Gorgonzola Cured Wagyu Strip and Rigatoni all Vodka, plus you get a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine included.
It’s cozy, it’s private, and it’s one of those experiences that feels special without being overly precious about it.

European Holiday Market Kicks Things Off
The European Holiday Market happens over two nights in late November with free admission. You’re getting artisan vendors, warm treats like empanadas and Spanish poutine, festive entertainment, and a Tree Lighting Ceremony with surprise “snowfall” at 7:30 PM.
There are complimentary photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, Dickens Carolers, and kids’ activities including a scavenger hunt, arts & crafts, face painting, and cookie decorating kits for $5.
It’s the kind of market that works whether you’re shopping for gifts or just soaking in the atmosphere.

The Nutcracker Under the Stars
Europa Village is staging The Nutcracker outdoors at the Giardino del Cielo at Vienza & Tuscany Ballroom in late December. You can get tickets for just the show, or upgrade to the Dinner & Show Package for a gourmet themed menu before the performance.
Watching ballet under the stars in wine country is the kind of thing that sounds like it shouldn’t work but absolutely does.

The New Year’s Eve celebration is 21+ and black-tie, leaning into an Old Hollywood Glam theme. Glamorous cocktail hour, three-course plated dinner, dramatic balloon drop at midnight, and a champagne toast to bring in 2026.
If you’re tired of the usual San Diego New Year’s Eve options, this gives you something different without having to leave Southern California.

Why Europa Village Gets It Right
What makes Europa Village’s holiday programming work is that they’re not just adding some decorations and calling it festive.
Each event has thought behind it – the igloo dining creates intimacy, the holiday market brings community together, The Nutcracker offers culture in an unexpected setting, and the New Year’s Eve party commits fully to a theme. It’s cohesive without feeling repetitive.

See you there!
Pick your event (or hit multiple), make the drive to Temecula, and experience the holidays with a European twist in the middle of wine country.
