Since Thanksgiving is around the corner I thought it would be fun to share this since I already had it out looking for a recipe for someone

    Actual minced meat in the pie. Logically, I knew this, but to read the recipe is a different experience. The full thick crust on meat pies was thought to prevent spoilage, but to have it sit, baked, for a full day before serving? They had strong stomachs.

    Any chance you’d post the recipe for chestnut croquettes?

    Also, I feel like “codfish a la mode” cant be what that sounds like.
