  1. lol immediately clicked on the image to see if it was ruths chris and boom! If you want a even cooked rare-mid rare ribeye, Ruths is not the spot to go.

Well the first is paying $160 for a steak

That’s definitely NOT a tomahawk. Looks good tho!

That you at it and it’s still there?

  5. Looks amazing to me but isn’t worth the price.

  6. I never understand why people pay money like this for a steak from a chain restaurant. The fact that this was in Cancun also adds insult to injury. There is no question that this steak was procured frozen from a giant Sysco-like entity and shipped 1,000+ miles to get to Mexico to be served in this large chain restaurant.

I guess a sucker is born every minute and maybe this post is rage bait. But people doing this at a chain restaurant really is bewildering to me.

And he didn’t even include any money shot. The entire situation is triggering!

$160 and they couldn’t bother to wipe the plate?

Terrible plating. 0 garnish. For 160 I’d expect something more visually pleasing.

We cut steaks for Ruth’s Chris where I work. That’s not a tomahawk, that’s what we call a cowboy ribeye. A little bit longer bone than a regular bone in steak, plus it should be frenched about an inch. The tomahawks we cut for them have like 12″ of bone and they’re 40oz. I’m pretty sure they charge like $250 USD for it too

  10. You could have got that steak for $50 at Texas Roadhouse

Thats from Ruth’s? Thats a shame. Ruth would be so disappointed in that being served. I would have sent it back.

I hate when restaurants put a piece of meat on a plate with nothing else. It looks naked.

That looks like the steak I cooked at home last night.

  14. What’s wrong is there isn’t a side plate with $130 cash on it 😳

Why pay that amount of money for a steak, especially in Mexico. You could have bought half a cow for that.

Ill die on the hill that steakhouses are the most pointless resturants. Steak is like the easiest thing to make and they charge you a fortune.

160 in mexico is ludicrous. I went to an amazing steak place in TJ with apps dessert drinks. 110.

Not a tomahawk. More of a cowboy steak
