JD Wetherspoon has implemented a substantial menu transformation across its UK pubs this month as it introduces its Christmas food range.

The renowned pub chain, which operates more than 800 venues nationwide, has announced its festive menu will be served in its establishments from now until Wednesday, December 31, excluding Christmas Day.

The seasonal offerings for 2025 feature Wetherspoon’s beloved sliced turkey breast with winter vegetables, alongside plant-based alternatives and an array of deli sandwiches.

The turkey meal consists of four turkey breast slices, accompanied by pork, sage and onion stuffing, presented with roasted Chantenay carrots and parsnips, Maris Piper mash, two pigs-in-blankets, peas, cranberry sauce and gravy.

A festive plant-based alternative is also on offer, featuring a vegan patty with garlic and herb sauce, iceberg lettuce, tomato and red onion, crowned with mushrooms and accompanied by five onion rings, reports the Express.

For diners looking to deviate from the conventional Christmas meal and choose something rather different, Wetherspoon is reintroducing The Big Cheese burger.

The pub chain states it has made the burger “even more cheesy this season” by adding an Emmental and Cheddar cheese sauce on the side.

This complements a choice of patty garnished with Brie slices, two halloumi fries and salad accompaniments, served alongside a portion of chips. Wetherspoon’s patrons have the choice of a Brie and bacon burger, chicken and stuffing burger, or a new addition for this year, a mushroom and garlic burger suitable for vegetarians.

An 11-inch Brie and garlic mushroom pizza is also on offer this year, which comes with a soft or alcoholic drink, while an eight-inch version is available in the small plates range.

Cheese enthusiasts are well catered for, with festive loaded chips topped with generous amounts of Emmental and Cheddar cheese sauce, pigs-in-blankets and cranberry sauce for dipping.

For those seeking lighter options, there’s a variety of deli deals including a chicken, stuffing, bacon and cranberry panini, a brie and cranberry panini, and a southern-fried chicken and stuffing wrap, all of which come with a soft or alcoholic drink and can be ordered with additional side dishes.

No Christmas menu would be complete without dessert, and this year’s sweet treats include a cookies and cream blondie, filled with white chocolate and crushed cookie pieces, served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate cookie crumbs, or a giant profiterole filled with vanilla cream, covered in Belgian chocolate and topped with a fresh strawberry.

Wetherspoon has stated that customers don’t need to book to enjoy the Christmas menu, they can simply “turn up and enjoy”. However, the menu will only be available for a limited time until Wednesday, December 31, excluding Christmas Day.
