This so definitely my favorite under $4 bbq sauce. Used to be Lillys Hot Smoky until they lowered the portion sizes and raised the price.

I don’t like overly spicy things and I found this to be perfect on ribs.

Get the Devil’s Spit rub. All the goodness without the high fructose corn syrup.

I’ll agree with you. I usually make my own or use Oakland dust or Blues Hog, but that one is excellent on ribs. Had Dave himself hand me a bottle at a recent competition and was pleasantly surprised.

Pro tip: plastic bottles get better flavor on indirect heat.

Don’t sleep on Famous Dave’s. Sweet and Zesty is a crowd favorite. Devil’s Spit is banging.

Hope you’ve got the pickles to go with it, absolutely bomb

I have never tried Devil’s Spit sauce, but apparently should. I love Famous Dave’s Sweet & Spicy pickles. How hot is the Devil’s Spit? As long as it’s not like “make your eyes water” spicy I’d be interested

I absolutely LOVE Kraft BBQ sauce from Vons. Everett & Jones Spicy is my favorite “fancy” sauce, but Kraft BBQ on a rack of ribs is heaven to me. It’s just pitch perfect – not too sweet, not too vinegary, not overpowering. Great compliment to the meat.

This is one of my favorite along with the Texas pit. I’ll mix the two

Try the Wilbur’s revenge if you really want to sweat. That stuff is wicked hot.

Famous Dave’s does a pretty good job sauce wise at the table. I also really enjoy their pickles, but the Devil’s Spit ones can be a bit overpowering.

Duly noted. Better than SBR’s?

I like to blend this one and rich and sassy. I find it the perfect mix.

Unfortunately it’s still filled with corn syrup. Homemade is cheap and easy.

honestly it’s a decent sauce for a little heat
