JD Wetherspoon has rolled out a major menu overhaul across its UK pubs this month as it unveils its Christmas food selection.

The well-known pub chain, which runs more than 800 outlets nationwide, has confirmed its festive menu will be available in its establishments from now until Wednesday, December 31, excluding Christmas Day.

The seasonal dishes for 2025 showcase Wetherspoon’s popular sliced turkey breast with winter vegetables, plus plant-based options and a selection of deli sandwiches.

The turkey dish comprises four turkey breast slices, paired with pork, sage and onion stuffing, served with roasted Chantenay carrots and parsnips, Maris Piper mash, two pigs-in-blankets, peas, cranberry sauce and gravy.

A festive plant-based option is also available, comprising a vegan patty with garlic and herb sauce, iceberg lettuce, tomato and red onion, topped with mushrooms and served with five onion rings, reports Nottinghamshire Live.

For customers seeking to stray from the traditional Christmas meal and opt for something quite different, Wetherspoon is bringing back The Big Cheese burger.

The pub chain claims it has made the burger “even more cheesy this season” by including an Emmental and Cheddar cheese sauce on the side. This year, Wetherspoon’s patrons can choose from a selection of burgers including a Brie and bacon burger, chicken and stuffing burger, or a new addition, a mushroom and garlic burger suitable for vegetarians.

Each is served with chips and garnished with Brie slices, two halloumi fries and salad.

An 11-inch Brie and garlic mushroom pizza is also on the menu, which comes with a soft or alcoholic drink, while an eight-inch version is available in the small plates range.

For cheese lovers, there are festive loaded chips topped with generous amounts of Emmental and Cheddar cheese sauce, pigs-in-blankets and cranberry sauce for dipping.

Lighter options include a variety of deli deals such as a chicken, stuffing, bacon and cranberry panini, a brie and cranberry panini, and a southern-fried chicken and stuffing wrap. All come with a soft or alcoholic drink and can be ordered with additional side dishes.

And of course, no Christmas menu would be complete without dessert. This year’s sweet treats include a cookies and cream blondie, filled with white chocolate and crushed cookie pieces, served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate cookie crumbs, or a giant profiterole filled with vanilla cream, covered in Belgian chocolate and topped with a fresh strawberry.

Wetherspoon has assured customers that no booking is required to enjoy their Christmas menu, simply “turn up and enjoy”. However, the festive offerings will only be available for a limited period until Wednesday, 31 December, with the exception of Christmas Day.
