Went to “see” the Up. Left with the Up and 4 sleeves of coffee. Paid for Tanzania, asked for the 3 free sleeves that are automatically added when the machine is added to cart in the app.
I needed retail therapy…my kid is sick, my dog is vomiting, had a flat tire (nail), and am dealing with vehicle insurance claim issues from a driver who hit me and a claims agent who ghosted me after she recorded my statement 2.5 weeks ago. Now…I NEED MY COFFEE! 👋

How much was the Up? Looks amazing. Im curious about the creations button, does it make cold brew/iced coffee capsules at a lower temp?
Also, more random notes:
– The accents are a champagne color.
– There’s a dedicated Coffee Creations (aka their new term for Expert Mode) button
– The water tank is fully repositionable. Whereas with the Vertuo Plus, you can lock it into place on the rear or either side, this rotates but doesn’t lock in so it sits wherever you want it within that rotation.
– Water tank is huge! Think Vertuo Plus Deluxe size. Love it!
– I also love the lever style open/close. I hated the manual turn on the Next/Pop+ as it never seemed smooth and I really missed just pushing the close button on the Vertuo Plus after switching to the Pop to save space and gain Expert Mode – so this is a great feature to me.
Wow, thanks for the update. Sadly, the Vertuo Up doesn’t release until December 9th in Canada. That’s like an eternity for me.
BTW, sorry about what you’re going through. Good news is, coffee may not fix things, but makes facing life’s curveballs easier to deal with.
Is that a Digital Barista Frother hiding in the background?
Enjoy your new machine 😊 and those cups are adorable!
Congrats. I’m getting mine in black as well. I have a Pop Deluxe in silver, and while its fine, its short. I like the Up better. It’s a taller machine, faster, has a bigger water tank, can fit tumblrs, or Nespresso tall glass mugs comfortably.
Oooh I visited the Nespresso boutique today too. Tried the Tanzania double espresso and purchased a few sleeves myself.
I love those mugs!
