

Paprika was probably the best thing I’ve eaten in Austin. I was said I only got three. Cuantos was good as well. I was going to try Discada but the line looked very healthy. Anyone have enchiladas recommendations? Please don’t say El dorado.

Paprika + Cuantos are simply top notch. Cuantos topped my power rankings until I tried paprika a few months back.

i love both places but i give the edge to paprika. enchiladas y mas is a solid option for no fuss enchiladas.
Am I getting this right? Their brick and mortar is open from 11am – 6pm. Then 6pm – close they are at Long Play?
How does that work? Do they move all their ingredients around?
This is my take as well. I know Cuantos gets all the love but for me, Paprika is my preference.

Sadly Un Mundo de Sabor moved to Wimberley but their enchiladas rojas are top tier fantastic and worth the trip.

I tried Discada and Cuantos, one after the other as a mini food tour for a friend.
Individually, both fire. At the same time, Discada easily takes the cake.
Now we have to try Paprika!
“Enchiladas y Mas” for enchiladas.
La Cocina de Consuelo for bangin enchiladas and plenty of other good stuff
Juan in a Million also satisfies an enchilada verde hankering
Chili Parlor does solid ones. They have a better wet burrito imo
Seems to be a correlation between quality of enchilada and quality of ambiance

Regarding enchiladas, I’m assuming you mean Tex-Mex. Enchiladas Y Mas is what you’re looking for. Combo #5 if during lunch, Comida Regular if not.

I am absolutely loving these totally organic and genuine daily posts about Paprika’s on this sub!
I love Cuantos Tacos and their green salsa is perfection. Unfortunately they seem to give me an upset stomach, along with my partner. We sometimes brave the bad to eat the delicious tacos though.
I know this makes me a bad Mexican or whatever but this style of taco is just so boring to me. Give me some shredded cheese, some nice sauces, some creative toppings, a flour tortilla with actual structural integrity so you don’t have to double it up and still have it tear apart into a soggy mess anyway… maybe 1 in 20 times I get tacos I crave an “authentic” taco like this. The rest of the time I’m team TexMex all the way.
