As part of the many initiatives organized by the Italian Embassy for the 10th edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, Prof. Eleonora Poggiogalle of the Department of Experimental Medicine at Sapienza University of Rome and researcher of the ONFOODS Foundation was invited to Buenos Aires. Thanks also to the collaboration with the Consulate General of Buenos Aires, Prof. Poggiogalle held a series of popular seminars on the theme “La Dieta Mediterranea más alla del Mediterraneo” at two Italian peer schools in the consular district of Buenos Aires: the Cristoforo Colombo and the Italian Cultural Center.

In addition, with the support of the Centro Italo-Argentino di Alti Studi – a center promoted by the Italian Embassy at the Universidad de Buenos Aires -, a keynote lecture was organized as part of the Máster Internacional en Tecnología de los Alimentos (delivered jointly with the University of Parma). The presence of Prof. Poggiogalle thus favored the organization of fun and learning spaces aimed at introducing Italian cuisine to new generations, integrating tradition, healthy habits and innovative perspectives
