Heinz is giving Thanksgiving leftovers the star treatment, while also paying homage to a classic sitcom.
The food company released squeezable Leftover Gravy, designed to turn the post-feast sandwich into a simple, crave-worthy creation.
The first-ever squeezable bottle of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy is made for the day after the holiday, when leftover turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce come together in a gravy-soaked sandwich — famously known to fans of Friends as the “Moist Maker.”

The Moist Maker originated in the Dec. 10, 1998 episode “The One with Ross’s Sandwich,” when David Schwimmer’s character, Ross Geller, had a meltdown after a co-worker stole his carefully crafted leftover sandwich from the office fridge.
The sandwich’s signature feature was a middle slice soaked in gravy, keeping the turkey and stuffing from drying out, and it has since become an iconic pop culture reference among fans. Heinz is now bringing that legendary leftover sandwich to life with a modern twist.
“While Heinz Gravy has always been a fan favorite on the Thanksgiving table, we decided to focus our attention on the day-after ritual — because we all know leftovers are the best part and our unmistakably rich and smooth gravy makes them that much better,” said Jamie Mack, Associate Director of Brand Communications for Heinz U.S., in a press release. “A social media favorite among millennial sitcom-lovers, the Moist Maker epitomized an obsession with holiday food crafted with care and detail.”
Mack continued, “Now, Heinz is celebrating the fans who share an irrational love of the nostalgic sandwich by providing the key to a delicious day-after sandwich: Heinz Leftover Gravy.”
Heinz did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s response for comment.
The launch arrives as Heinz doubles down on gravy during the holiday season, targeting millennial hosts who are redefining Thanksgiving traditions.
Fans can order a 12-ounce jar of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy on walmart.com and receive a limited-edition Leftover Gravy kit, which includes a squeezable bottle and a recipe card for creating the ultimate leftover sandwich, while supplies last.
