Step into the heart of Qom’s old bazaar and discover a 215-year-old Halva shop that has kept the art of Persian sweets alive for five generations. In this video, the owner and his son open their doors to share their family’s time-honored craft — from roasting sesame seeds and grinding them into tahini, to mixing, kneading, and shaping the perfect Halva.

This isn’t just a dessert; it’s a living piece of Iranian history. The walls are lined with photos of their ancestors and the traditional tools they’ve used for over two centuries. Beyond Halva, the family also makes fragrant tahini sauce and golden saffron rock candy (nabat) — all by hand, all with deep pride.
