Have you ever put beans in your tuna salad? Well, I think you just might start now after this. You have a watch after you watch this video. Let me show you how I made it. There were a good few years where I didn’t eat tuna because I had tuna aversion because I once got a can of tuna and it had bones in it and it was all crunchy. So, I would eat chickpeas instead of tuna. And now I eat tuna again. So, I’m combining the tuna with the chickpeas this time. So, you just take some chickpeas and mash them. And somehow it gets like a little bit texturally like tuna. I’m not going to lie, it was a good substitution. So, here’s our smashed chickpeas. See, it kind of looks like tuna from afar. And then I’m just going to take like half of this can of tuna. Whatever. Bless you, baby. Now, let’s just make my delicious, amazing, best tuna you’re ever going to try. So, first things first, we’re going to add a whole heck ton of mayo. An amount that might might spook you, but for me, I really like mayo. Next controversial thing I add to my tuna. Sweet relish. A lot of people think it’s freaky that I put sweet relish, but it’s what my parents always did. I do like a good amount. I like to taste the sweetness in there. Then just a scoch, a tiny squeeze of Dijon for a little extra layer of flavor and a tiny tiny bit of salt. The tuna and the beans are already salty, so it doesn’t need a lot. No pepper. Pepper does not belong in tuna ever since my dad made two peppery tuna when I was little and it made me choke at school and it was really embarrassing and I don’t love pepper a lot because of that instance. So here is our tuna bean salad. This is feeling very British. It’s getting British. I think chickpeas might be my favorite bean. But why do they call them peas? Wait, they also call them garano beans. Never mind. I’m putting this on some classic wheat bread. It’s not a tuna melt situation today. I like to put a little layer of extra mayo onto the bread. Even if you’re a mayo lover and you and you you’ll just get it. We’re synergistically aligned. I take that and put that on there. But what I will put on half is some jalapenos. Y’all know I’m the variety queen. Now that looks perfect. Let’s place a lid on her. I’m going to grab some chips. Ah, and meet me at my table to eat. I have barbecue and salt and vinegar. I couldn’t decide on which one, so we’re having both. Are you interested? Top two best chips of all time, I think. Also, I rearranged my couch, so now Leela will probably be in the back of my videos more. Shall we start with a spicy boy or a regular boy? I’m thinking spicy. You can’t even really tell the bean is in there, which might be a good thing. How about a chippy boy? Have a chippy boy. What the heck is that little red thing on there? It looks like a sprinkle. I don’t know. Some sort of seed. Here, Leela. A little chickpea tuna bite. And then with the extra tuna, you use it as chip dip. Duh. Mhm. Mhm. This is so good. Oh my. You have to try this. I’m drooling. Okay.

  3. Out of all beans you put Bush's?? Theres local canned beans you could've used, idk why Bush's puts brown sugar in their beans, its too much, its like they expect us to add their can to our beans almost like they wanna add to something we gotta cook

  4. It is ALWAYS a tuna melt situation for me personally. I must have copious amounts of dressed tomato on top, as well as melted cheese.
I highly suggest lightly toasting a bagel, lighly cream cheese it, add your tuna melt ingredients and bake open faced.
    Simply the bomb.
