My jaw dropped when I saw this at the store. Leave it to VL to deliver an insane birthday cake flavor. The shards of icing. The chocolate cake pieces? Sweet as hell but I’m a sucker for birthday cake 😭😭😭 I FEEL SO ALIVE.

I liked everything about this except for the blue frosting. It tasted way too sweet and artificial to me. The rest of the ice cream though tasted like a really solid cookies and cream.

I love it (just behind malted cookie dough and black cherry) but yeah, the blue icing shards are not 100 percent. I agree the icing is too sweet and I find that it’s a little grainy and doesn’t melt gracefully. The rest of the ice cream tastes amazing though.

Why isn’t it called Birthday Cake?
Ice cream cake is made out of ice cream, so Ice Cream Cake Ice Cream is just ice cream ice cream, which doesn’t make a ton of sense.
