That wasn't the usual next-level experience. The wine wasn't flawed by all means, but it wasn't perfect either. The cork was slightly damaged, which was probably the reason. The nose was phenomenal, with beeswax and riped yellow stone fruit in the background. Then came the familiar petrol note. On the palate, unfortunately, it was slightly reduced and lacked the aromatic complexity of a Wehlener Sonnenuhr. But it also confirms that 2012 isn't my favorite Mosel vintage. Nevertheless, still a great, great wine. Cheers!

Where are they not? Too bad on that one but I’d never turn down a glass.
