We popped this a few months back and I have been meaning to post it. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t write down any notes to come back to, but it’s possible this is the best wine (not just Riesling) that I’ve ever poured into my gullet. Crazy honey, some tropical fruit and the ever present (albeit faint) petrol. It was an incredible bottle that outshined a table full of bangers. I won’t soon forget her.

Where do people buy old bottles? Or did you just buy it around 1990 and store it until now? Sorry I’m a newbie.

An aged Prum is one of those wines that always blows me away (when I’ve been fortunate enough to try it). It’s amazing to try it next to a young one to really show people what aging a Riesling can do!
I think they said Prüm, not Prum (jokes aside, sounds delicious!)
