Full Recipe (makes about 3 cups):
2 cans (15 oz) chickpeas, drained & rinsed
½ cup tahini (sesame paste)
4 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil (+ more for serving)
3 cloves garlic (raw for strong flavor, roasted for mild)
¼ cup water (adjust for creaminess)
Salt, to taste
Paprika or sumac, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and salt into a food processor.
Blend until smooth, slowly adding water until creamy.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika or sumac.
