Finally bought a slow cooker at 49yr old

2kilo beef lobbed in at 9am.
Beef stock
Onions
Some leek
Few spuds
Carrot and parsnip ends
Half glass white wine

Browned beef before cooking on high for 5 then low for 4

The gravy was immense

    I got my slow cooker for free at a garage sale. Missing knob so I turn it on by plugging it in. Still works tho lol. Had it for 15 years or something

    My favorite slow cooker recipe is a beef roast with a pack of Louie’s Italian beef seasoning. Greatest thing ever. Enjoy!

    Honestly I would’ve gotten a newer model. A 49 y.o. slow cooker isn’t going to be as good as the new one.
