
Hey everyone,
Iβm still pretty new to the whole barista/coffee game, and Iβve been running into this gross problem: my knock box starts growing mold if I donβt empty it within 24 hours.
For example, I work 24-hour hospital shifts, and when I come home the next morning, Iβm greeted by the same nasty surprise again (see photo).
Iβve tried cleaning it with different products, scrubbing it, drying it, but nothing seems to help. Even if I empty it daily, it still starts molding fast.
Any tips or tricks on how to deal with this? Do you guys have a routine or hack to keep it clean or at least slow down the mold?
I love my coffee, but this part is starting to ruin the vibe. βοΈπ
