Yeah that’s where I am after trying some of the more posh cans. I’ve had a few and they are Very high quality but man I would never pay for it, because at that price point I’m just buying the fresh trout.

It is very tasty and has reasonable ingredients with only 2 grams of added sugar, real olive oils, and it’s smoked which makes for a pleasant texture. King Oscar’s Sweet Thai Chili has 11 grams of added sugar, soybean oil, and not smoked. this is an instance where you really get what you pay for. King Oscar is nuts to include nearly 3 tsp of sugar per can.

This mackerel I think is there best can by far. The fly by jing salmon was pretty disappointing and nothing else has really blown me away, but this mackerel I thought was amazing.
