I am interested in this edible butter candle. How does one go about it’s creation?

I don’t think this is challah. But it does look delicious! How does the butter candle work? Does it just melt down into the bread? God I’m so hungry now

Okay so, hypothetically speaking, where would one acquire a food safe wick? 👀

How did the butter candle hold up. They look awesome but I always worry about them just turning into a big puddle?

Being pedantic, it’s not challah if there’s dairy. The whole point is that it can be eaten with meat while keeping kosher. I’ve made the same mistake (and been corrected) myself

So curious about the butter candle! How long does it take to melt? Does it just create a buttery mess so that you’re left with all the inner bread getting soaked in the melted butter?
