Community members gathered to celebrate the release of a French wine today.
Every year on the third Thursday of November, Beaujolais Nouveau celebrations are held around the world, recognizing the arrival of the young red wine from France’s Beaujolais region.
Bottled just weeks after harvest, Beaujolais Nouveau is a special kind of wine known for its bright, fruity flavors and is meant to be enjoyed young and chilled rather than aged.
At the annual Binghamton and La Teste Beaujolais Nouveau celebration at 205 Dry, community members sampled the first wines of the season while enjoying food, music, and good company.
