    So this was sort of a freehand recipe based on something I saw online.

    2 small red onions,
    2 small carrots,
    1 stick of celery,
    1 teaspoon double concentrated tomato paste,
    Half a dozen sun-dried tomatoes,
    1 large glass of red wine,
    400ml veg stock,
    700ml mutti passata,
    400g beef shin,
    200g pork and tomato flavoured sausages from the village butcher,
    1 large bundle of thyme rosemary basil and a few bay leaves.

    12 hours in the slow cooker and 30 minutes on the stove to reduce to a nice thick consistency.
