Business in Jessup raises nearly $7K, collects 5,000 pounds of food for Feed A Friend

Dempsey Uniform and Linen Supply in Jessup collected more than 5,000 pounds of food after a little friendly competition.

Employees were divided into two teams to raise money and collect food.

Judy Santarsiero, an employee, says, “I’m just very grateful myself to go home and open up my refrigerator. There’s people that don’t and can’t do that so we do what we can.”

In all, Dempsey raised nearly $7,000 for the Feed A Friend campaign.
