Hey guys! Above you can see my gender reveal cake that I baked for my family. I’m fairly new to cake decorating but I’ve been loving doing kitchen stuff always so I’d love your honest feedback what I could do better. My civilian wedding is in 2 weeks and was thinking of doing my own (simple) two tier wedding cake. (Was thinking 22cm and 16cm). It is only for family so like 20 people.
Do you think I’m ready for it?

Please research florals. Baby’s breath is toxic to humans, relatively mild, but there are other flowers that have more toxins in them.

its lovely cake. I am sure you’re ready, but its more important if you think you’re ready and the added specialness of sharing your homemade cake with family and friends on your special day will add to the celebration.
I absolutely think that you’re ready. But also, it’s*your* wedding! Even if you were not skilled at cake decoration (which you are), if baking your cake yourself is something that you want to do, you should let nothing stop you!
