There’s a popular Italian restaurant getting a second location, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Chianti Cafe and Restaurant’s first and original location sits in the heart of Edmonton’s Old Strathcona. Here, it serves only the best comfort classic Italian dishes, known for being the perfect Whyte Avenue date spot or just a casual lunch restaurant.
Some of the most popular dishes on the menu have to be its mouth-watering bruschetta and its rich and flavorful alfredo pasta. Not to mention, Chianti is a from-scratch kitchen, meaning every dish is made fresh to order.
This friendly neighbourhood spot just announced on Nov. 23 that it’d be getting a second location over in Riverbend Square. It will be taking over the former Oliveto Trattoria space.
“We look forward to welcoming you with the same flavours and atmosphere you love,” says the team on Instagram.
This location marks the second-ever Chianti location and, although the location has been announced, we must “stay tuned” for its opening date. This highly anticipated opening is only going to get closer, and we can’t wait.
Stay tuned for more information, as well as the official opening date for the second Chianti Cafe and Restaurant location.
