DUNWOODY, GA — Varuni Napoli will open a new location at 120 High St., Dunwoody, GA 30346, with construction expected to begin by the end of December. Owner Luca Varuni told Business Debut the team is targeting a mid-2026 debut.
What to Expect
The Dunwoody restaurant will operate as a fast-casual concept. Guests will order at the counter, select their seating, and have their food delivered to the table.
The space will include about 3,000 square feet inside and a 1,000-square-foot patio. Seating is planned for approximately 100 guests.
Menu and Vision
Varuni said the menu will closely follow the brand’s established Atlanta locations, with a continued emphasis on authentic Neapolitan pizza made with imported ingredients. “We are one of the few pizzerias in the United States that imports everything directly from Naples, Italy,” he told Business Debut.
His personal favorite remains the Margherita, prepared with San Marzano tomatoes, extra-virgin olive oil, and buffalo mozzarella. He also noted the Bastardo as a customer favorite, featuring house-made nduja.
Owner Background
Luca Varuni was born and raised in Naples, Italy, where he developed a deep connection to traditional Neapolitan cuisine before moving to the United States at age 19. He began his career in Philadelphia and New York, working within family-run restaurants and gaining hands-on experience across both cities.
After nearly a decade in the Northeast, Varuni moved to the South and eventually opened his first Varuni Napoli location in Midtown Atlanta, which he still considers his “baby.” Over the past 13 years, he has expanded the brand while maintaining a commitment to authenticity, importing ingredients directly from Naples and sharing his Neapolitan craft with the Atlanta community.
Opening Timeline
Construction is expected to begin by late December. The team is targeting a mid-2026 opening.

Varuni Napoli plans to operate seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Lunch service may begin once operations stabilize.
