ATLANTA, GA — Crispina Ristorante & Pizzeria is preparing to reopen in a new Vinings location in early January, owner Raffaele Crispino told Business Debut. The restaurant is moving one block from its former space to 3155 Cobb Pkwy SE Suite 130, Atlanta, GA 30339 following redevelopment plans at its previous center.
Crispino said the team expects to open “in a month or so,” with only about a week of downtime between closing the existing space and launching the new restaurant.
What to Expect
The new Crispina location will continue operating as a full-service Italian restaurant with a significantly expanded footprint. The bar will double in size, offering 12–16 seats compared to the current eight, and the restaurant will accommodate roughly 100 diners between the interior and a patio.
Guests can expect a larger kitchen, a new walk-in cooler, and added equipment that will allow the team to broaden the menu. A new larger wood-burning brick pizza oven from Italy is being installed, enabling faster output and a more visible pizza-making experience through a window into the kitchen.
Menu and Vision
Crispino said the move gives the restaurant more space to introduce new dishes. “We’re going to introduce definitely some risotto with seafood and porcini mushrooms,” he told Business Debut. Additional menu additions include Chilean sea bass or Mediterranean branzino, expanded grilled meats such as filet mignon and pork chops, and the return of their popular octopus salad.
The dessert list and wine and cocktail programs will also grow. Weekend brunch, which the team recently began testing, will continue at the new location, featuring items like breakfast pizza, frittata, and Milanese with arugula salad.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting an early January opening, depending on final preparations.
