Recived my exchange box from u/Grouchy-Cat1584 yesterday and could not be more impressed. I can't find any of these brands around my state without going online.
These will be my first Nuri, as a longtime sardine lover I'm sure im in for a treat. And the Iwashi miso sardines make me salivate just imagining them covered in delicious sweet miso. I dont think I've had tuna belly before either; but I've had Jose's cod spreads and those were great. The Bela Mack with Piri Piri is most welcome as mackerel is my favorite.
THE VINTAGE RECIPE BOOK! I scrapbook and collect lots of ephemera like this amd the beautiful sketch, this was a TREAT! Also excited to write my findings in the little fish log.
I ate one of the chocolate fish after dinner, my partner who is not into tinned fish thought it was a chocolate COVERED sardine and we spent a terse few minutes with me happily chomping away and them uncomfortably afraid to ask 😄

Always good to learn of another Mack Head! Those Bela Mackerel are small, whole mackerel, which are a different, but still wonderful noshing experience than the usual mackerel fillets.
You have some fun art and materials for your scrapbooking!
You’ve inspired me to save my packaging to create something for the kitchen!
Nice! And Maine… went to Portland, Maine last year, drove up the coast to Acadia National Park, stopping at lobster shacks along the way, absolutely the most beautiful and delicious drive of my life.
What a special box!
Those extras are so cool!
Do they sell like jars of onion juice or do you just like squeeze an onion real hard?
Happy that you like the package! 🥰 Enjoy! P.S. The chocolate sardines are Nuri, too! 😉
Huh, fish exchange? Where does one find such a thing?
