

Hello fellow nerds! Ive been drying some Hungarian hots in paper bags. I check them weekly, but our humidity has jumped hard the last few days. I assume the black is no good, but the yellow seems okay? Or should I toss it too? Pic 2 of some nice looking ones. So excited to make my first batch of rub

I usually split my peppers at least in half to help them dry faster. They look good, but do check that black one before using it. 🌶
Black unfortunately isnt good in most cases
when in doubt, throw it out
Cut them open before using to make sure there isn’t mold inside. Its better to cut them before drying too
