Thats some horror movie shit if thats how you treat a guest. Looks tasty!

Thanksgiving is tomorrow, idk why so many people are completing their turkeys today

  4. Nice! I’m cooking turkey for my family for the first time, and also got a kamado Joe recently, my first charcoal grill as an adult. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough practice or accessories to rotisserie the turkey, but might smoke it at the hosts house with pellets. Getting a fresh turkey from a butcher, Spatchcocking, and the buttermilk brine were hard enough.

  5. Wow does that ever look good. Now I’m hungry!

Love a rotisserie over coals. I’ve had amazing success with chickens but less so with a prime rib and down right scared to try a turkey. Can you share pics once she’s done?

Hell yes, more please… Update when you carve it!!

You cook your guests? Kinda rude, don’tcha think?

    Does look amazing, however.Β

I need a damn rotisserie attachment

Why does it need to be rotated? That’s an enclosed oven…

It puts the drippings on the skin or else it gets the brush again.

Are you in New Zealand or something? You’re a bit premature on cooking that bird.

ETA: I did see your comment about doing your household dinner tonight, still wanted to make my time zone joke though.

We have to tie our guests up too, to keep them from leaving πŸ˜›

The train has jumped the tracks at Flavortown!

    Looks great.
Did all the work for you.
What are the details…temp, cook time, weight please.
I will do this for Christmas with another bird or roast.

Well done. But not TOO well done. Done good, I conclude.

I so badly wanted to do a turkey on the spit but we have too many people this year. My nephew and I smoked some turkeys this weekend on his big competition pit so we’re having that.

I was expecting an alive turkey or some critter just hanging out in your grill πŸ˜…

If i am reincarnated as a turkey, I want to go out like this!

  21. Not getting one this year. They’re $65 at Food City.
