Planted Red Mustard, Tatsoi and North Pole Lettuce this August with the hope I could pick a bunch fresh by Thanksgiving! It survived down to 19 degrees F, so now we are going to see if it survives the big snow and freeze (down to 5 this weekend). Not expecting it to, so I picked about 3/4s of it last night. Going to try with more vegetables next year.

Oh wow they didn’t get weird from below freezing temps?? Good to know! You didn’t use a cold frame….?
