Is there pastry on the bottom? Looks really good!

Looks good! I’ve been experimenting with a very similar pot pie, and have started cutting the biscuits on top into smaller pieces and rolling in garlic butter before baking. Probably not for everyone, but my family loves garlic.

Using the grand biscuits gives it that perfect mix of soft, flaky, and a little crispy on top.

I don’t make chicken pot pie as often as I want to because I hate making crusts. I might try your method.

I’ve been making crustless pot pies for a couple of decades. The topping is a garlicky herb drop biscuit. My mom always did the canned biscuit topping and it’s so nostalgic for me. Yummy!

That looks amazing. One of the best comfort foods in a cold winter/fall night. Thanks for sharing! I hope it tastes as good as it looks!

That looks really delicious! I am very much a two crust pot pie loyalist, But a really good top crust can almost make up for having no bottom crust l 😹
