“We have started with the lounge and keeping the historical features. It is very traditional and very homely.”
The new lounge is located in a separate room and the restaurant hopes customers will stay on and enjoy the new space after they have enjoyed a meal.
Mrs Evans said: “We have the windows and the doors all open. You sit in our dining room, have a dinner party and then move to the lounge for drinks.”
