Went to the new location in Nihonbashi-Honcho. Not including the pics of the pour over in this sub. But, this is the best Cortado I have ever had. The "sommelier" guided me towards the three best recommendations for a Cortado and I chose the Colombian Quindio Campo Hermoso. I was sort of skeptical of the banana notes as was described, but I did want some with the hint of chocolate.

This was amazing. I texted my mom "holy fucking shit." I have been making home espresso for over a decade and have gotten my Cortados down pat. I live in Chicago, and I only have experienced a couple of cafe Cortados as good as my own. This blows mine and every other Cortado out of the water. The banana was perfect and emphasized and complemented by the sweetness of the milk, and I got just a nice hint of the chocolate. Maybe a little bit a the tea, as well, but I think it being a milk drink sort of moved the juiciness into the background.

It was that good. Would I got there every day for the price? No. But if I lived in Tokyo, I would probably go once every couple of weeks, at least. Totally worth it if you are in town.

The location is super cool, as well, as you can watch them roast. I think they said this is where they roast everything now.

I’ll be there in January, so excited!

  4. Does glitch do espresso? Or are they mainly pour over with frothed milk? None of the photos on here ever look like espresso

If someone was heading to Glitch and could try say three drinks, what would be recommended?
