You can’t drink all day if you don’t start now 😂

It’s important to stay hydrated in the kitchen, King. Crack a cold one

I just put a splash of rum in my morning tea.

  4. Use the smoker is like being at the airport. There are no laws for when you can start drinking.

My grandpa didn’t storm the beaches of Normandy for us to not be crackin morning beers on Thanksgiving.

It’s always between 5 and 6 pm if you’re within 10 feet of a operating smoker

  7. That’s like asking if there’s too early to crack a beer camping….

There’s no time lock on cold beer. Pop a top, mind the fire

everyone needs a good wake up beer once in a while.

  10. Aren’t the in-laws coming over in a bit? Better get a head start.

I slept from like 11-230, checked on the smoker, then up again at 4 and haven’t really slept again since. Brisket is resting on the counter right now getting ready for a cooler nap…I’m either going to try and sleep a bit after that or I may just crack a beer myself.

Smoking and drinking, name a better combo.

Too early? If you’re taking time to ask reddit I believe you are late sir.

Smoker or not, it’s never too early. Be safe, have fun, and Happy Thanksgiving.

  15. I mean, you could always have a tequila sunrise while watching the sun rise… but as I lack the ingredients (except the tequila), I will instead indulge in my morning’s coffee… but made Irish for cooking.

Can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning!!

Actually, “Smoker is on” means “Time for a beer”. Likewise, “Is the smoker on?” translates to “Is it time for a beer?”.

As long as the smoker is on, there’s no such thing. Don’t be a rookie, pace yourself.

  19. Never understood why it’s cool to drink a Mimosa or Bloody Mary first thing, but somehow, drinking a beer, or a few shots is taboo… 🤷‍♂️

Keep the beer open and the lid closed.
Once that smoke is rolling, the beer is flowing

  21. is it really thanksgiving if you don’t get in a drunken argument with those inlaws you can’t stand?

better start drinking now just to cover all your bases

On T-Day I usually start with a little Bourbon in my morning coffee then hit the beer when the first puff of smoke rolls off the smoker . I WILL survive the in-laws !

My dude, I’ve gone camping and cracked a beer before opening my eyes in the morning just by blindly reaching out and grabbing one that was in the cooler by my sleeping bag. You deserve that beer!

  24. GetBusyLivin21

Nope. You can invoke the “You can’t be drunk all day if you don’t start drinking in the morning” protocol.

    Works every time.

  25. Royal-Main-5530

Short answer no. However you need to calculate beers per hour versus buzz level and compare to hours left to smoke. Nobody likes a drunk smoker and dried meat lol

  26. Blasket_Basket

Don’t know what model you have but my smoker doesn’t produce smoke if I don’t have a beer in my hand
