📜
• Biscuits (Coarsely crushed): 300 g
• Butter: 100 g
• Fresh Milk: 180 ml
• Sugar (Regular or Date Sugar): 1/2 coffee cup (or to taste)
• Cocoa Powder: 3–4 tbsp
• Walnuts (Crushed): 50 g (optional)
• Essence: Vanilla (optional)
• Icing Sugar (Powdered Sugar): For dusting (optional)
🔪 Instructions:
1. Melt: Heat the milk, butter, sugar, and cocoa in a saucepan, stirring until the butter and sugar are dissolved. Remove from the heat.
2. Combine: Pour the mixture over the 300 g crushed biscuits and the 50 g crushed walnuts. Mix well until the biscuits are fully coated.
3. Roll: Place the mixture onto parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll it tightly into a log shape (salami).
4. Chill: Refrigerate for 3–4 hours or place in the freezer for 1 hour to firm up quickly. Slice and serve, optionally dusted with icing sugar.
Coarsely crush the biscuits. Add coarsely ground walnuts. Mix. Warm the milk. Add sugar (mine is date sugar) and stir. Add the cocoa to the mixture and stir until smooth. Pour the mixture over the biscuits and mix very well. Transfer the mixture onto foil and shape it into an even log resembling salami. After shaping it, place it in the refrigerator for a few hours or in the freezer for 1 hour for a faster result. Enjoy!
