The winners of the Chile 2025 Wine Tourism Awards were announced at Viña Valle Secreto, in Malloa, O’Higgins Region. Chile 2025 Wine Tourism Awardsa milestone that reaffirms Chile’s place among the most attractive wine tourism destinations in the world. The fourth edition of the contest distinguished projects and professionals that are raising the industry’s standards, contributing to the construction of an increasingly solid international reputation.
Bodegas RE won the Enoturismo a Escala Humana award for its family proposal; Viña Montes was recognized for the Best Wine Tourism Experience thanks to its Evolution Tour; and Constanza Utreras Lobos received the award for Best Wine Tourism Guide 2025.
The award ceremony was held under the slogan “Experiences cultivated by people”, a look that emphasizes the human dimension of the sector and has been promoted by Corfo’s Enotourism Chile Program, a key element in the public-private articulation that has allowed Chile to compete on an equal footing with consolidated destinations at the global level.
In this context, Claudio Cilveti, president of Enoturismo Chile, explained why the country is an attractive destination for this activity that, at the same time, strengthens its image internationally: “Chile’s geography is truly captivating. We have a wine industry that, together with tourism and gastronomy, forms a perfect triangle that generates a truly unique experience for those who come from abroad. The wineries have developed an infrastructure and a world-class wine tourism experience, which is making Chile stand out and which has been growing in recent years. In fact, a few years ago there were 85 wineries open to wine tourism, today there are 219, that is no coincidence.

Holding this ceremony in the O’Higgins Region is no coincidence. The territory has had a sustained development in recent times, with the Cachapoal Valley emerging strongly as an expanding wine tourism destination and several regional wineries obtaining international recognition, including the recent award given to Viña VIK in global rankings.
For her part, the Undersecretary of Tourism, Verónica Pardo, valued the instance that aims for Chile to continue leading the industry at a regional level: “Chile has an official ambassador worldwide: wine. We are the fourth largest exporter in the world and the first in Latin America, what goes hand in hand, to know the vineyards of Chile, to enjoy the tourist experience. There are many secrets to be discovered, many experiences, much culture.
The ceremony also included a special recognition for Excellence in Enogastronomic Proposal, awarded to Lomas de Llahuén, for its integration of rural cuisine, rural identity and local products in a deeply territorial experience.
The event ended with a gastronomic sample prepared by the INACAP Rancagua and Curicó teams, who presented a proposal of products from the mountains to the sea of the O’Higgins Region, highlighting traditional knowledge, local cuisine and the use of emblematic ingredients that reflect the culinary identity of the area.
