The taste was EXCEPTIONAL!!! I’m just a perfectionist and it just doesn’t LOOK the way I want. I think it was too much seasoning but it sure was a hit.

Yeah looks like a lot of seasoning. Seasoning will block the smoke from getting to the skin. You probably needed a third of what you put on. Glad it tasted good though.
Sorry for the side quest question, I see you have a drip-ez tub. Do you have issues with the silicone breaking where the fold seams are?
