Wife order a boarderie board for thanksgiving. It was supposed to arrive Wednesday but didn’t arrive until Friday. The package had 2 large ice packs that were mostly thawed, a little ice left. The board felt cold but the meats and cheeses were between 48-54’f when tested with my thermometer. They only put ice packs on the top of the board so the bottom was a little warmer. The board is sealed in plastic but it got warm enough for condensation to build inside the sealed plastic.
Boarderie has offered us a refund but would you risk eating anything?

I wouldn’t. I’d throw it away and ask for a refund.
Aww. Hell. Naw
Some of it should be fine like the nuts and olives, the cheese I would maybe do a smell test and sight inspection, I’d probably be okay with the salami as well. I’m a bit cavalier with my food safety, I would snack on the board for the night but wouldn’t share it with my extended family that includes my young nieces or my old grandma
My fatass would pass
Salvage what you can and take the refund. Looks like it would have been great had it been on time.
Nope
Get a refund and eat what you can. A lot of it will be fine, just sniff test it.
I work in food and no. Lol. The nuts are fine obviously but the cheese and meat, no.
Consulted my dairy management husband. We’d still eat it, but not give it to guests.
It’s slightly out of food safe zone. But I wouldn’t call it high risk. I’d eat all in the same day if possible though, it will expire faster.
It would be like drinking milk that tastes and smells totally fine, even though the expiration date says it expired yesterday. :’)
Was it cold? Did the ice packs do their work? Room temp? no.
I know me… I’d eat it
Smoked meats are fine in the “danger zone.” Hard cheeses should be ok as well. I’d avoid soft cheeses.
Is that moldy corn husk in Pic 3?
I would eat it and ask for a refund
No and never order anything frozen tbh
Why is everything so MOIST?
Refund!!!!
