I received these tteok (Korean rice cakes) today, and they’re so pretty I had to share.
Soft, chewy, slightly sweet β€” they were perfect.

    Rice cakes should be eaten the same day they’re made. After a day, they become hard and difficult to eat. You can microwave or steam them, but the texture and flavor will be somewhat reduced.
