I used the Ironwood 650 to make the Thanksgiving Turkey this year. I brined it for 24hrs then rinsed off in cold water and let it dry in the fridge over night. I used the rub that came with the pellets. I fired up the Trager using the Turkey blend pellets at 225 degrees and Super Smoke and put the spatchcocked bird in for 90 minutes. Then I cranked up the temp to 325 degrees for the remainder until the breast hit 160 degrees. K
