Caught a nasty cold but procured the best comfort food!

If your nose/taste is affected I’d wait until you recovered until trying these to get the full enjoyment of the flavor.

Hope you feel better soon! I received several jars of these sardines from a friend who travelled overseas and some look really good while others seem like the fish are falling apart and look super unappetizing. Those karma remain at the back of my pantry. I wonder if it’s because they got banged up when the jar was shaken around during their trip home?
What do you guys do with sardines that don’t hold hold their shape well or look appetizing? I’ve never cooked them in a meal, I always just eat them with crackers or bread and pickled things plus mustard or hot sauce.
