I have a Nespresso Plus and I like it, but I was really looking forward to a few features that the Up has (faster heat up, temp control, fits my travel mug).

I've only made one cup so far. When I hit the button to brew, it started making noise after about 3 seconds. The actual brew didn't start until about the 10 second mark. Definitely faster overall, which I like.

The only other thing of note so far is that it is noticeably louder than the Plus.

Congrats on your new Nespresso. The wall pod holder looks awesome. Mind sharing the link to it?

If you want to keep the pod catch tray a bit cleaner, put a thin sponge in there. It was absorbing the coffee that spills out when the sideways pods are ejected.

I’ve had mine since last week and love it. It is louder than my Vertuo DeluxePlus was for sure but I like the options that I have with this one. I got the same color as you as well. Enjoy your new machine!

This looks like a great upgrade from my Pop, mainly the clearance for travel mugs and the water tank.

Looks awesome, yeah keep this post updated if you discover anything new, I want to upgrade to this one too.

Mine got here yesterday, used it today. First brew was a refilled XL capsule, which it made with no problems and excellent crema. Made a few more of different sizes over the rest of the day, and I’m very happy switching from a Next. Size, form factor, and most importantly the brew was the quality you’d expect.

Would love to get an update one week later. Looking to pull a trigger on this color too from my nespresso vertuo breville I’ve had the last 5 years

Does the bottom tray move at all or just the one above it?

How is the noise compared to the Vertuo plus?

Omg I love this machine, here in Austria we don’t have any information about it, even if we going to get them..! Please keep us updated😊🤌🏻

I bought this and returned it after making a few cups. It for me just wasn’t as good as my plus (which i love dearly! 💜) it dint produce enough foam. The heat of the coffee was kinda luke warm. Finally the overall brew/taste of the pod also wasn’t as good as my plus. I was sad it didn’t work out but am happy I have my plus! 😊

I was lucky to have been in the test group for this machine. On the plus side was the fast heat up time, the 6 different sizes of coffee you can brew and having the Coffee Creations button. Being able to empty the spent pods from the front was very nice too. We weren’t able to access the app though, I would have loved to see how hot I could make my coffee. That is the one downside of Nespresso machines, I like my coffee hot! The steps to descale the machine was much easier too. On the negative side, is it louder than my Vertuo Plus. The accumulation of liquid in the discharge bin was a bit messy when emptying. I also brewed the same pods in each machine side by side and found that the new Vertuo Up dispensed less coffee per pod 😩. At $229, I will stick with my Vertuo Plus, and have been thinking about purchasing another one since they are being discontinued.

Please tell me about that wall-mounted pod dispenser. I love it!

While I love my Vertuo Creatista, and it’s obviously the best looking and quality design amongst all Nespresso machines, I have to say the new Vertuo UP is very nice looking. The plastic Nespresso machines were looking very dated and cheap-looking, and that includes the Next and the Plus. Nespresso absolutely needed new models.

That is a very nice looking machine!

Does the new machine spin the pod at two different speeds (first slow, then fast) like the Plus machine?

I’ve seen that some people say that the Up has less crema. How does the body of the coffee compare to the plus? Richer? Thinner?

Will never buy another Nespresso machine, three in six years and the ever decreasing coffee quality has plummeted in the last few months. I’m tired of throwing money in the landfill.

  18. Ouu it’s even smaller than the pop! super sleek looking. How does it run?
The pop is pretty loud too.

does anyone else feel like this machine looks more like a Keurig? i think it looks less “luxury” in its aesthetic but maybe it’s just me?

Those of you that have the Up already, have you been able to get it to connect to the Nespresso Smart app? I’ve been trying for two days. Nespresso says it’s a WiFi issue and my ISP says it’s a Nespresso issue 🤦🏻‍♀️

The brew video sounds good. I just had my first Nespresso experience the other day in a Target where they had a sample. Tasted really good so I guess I got here just in time. The app thing sounds interesting because I’m blind and using an app should in theory be accessible if it’s coded right. I just have a few questions:

    1. How are the buttons laid out?
    2. What all can you adjust in the app?
    3. Do you make your setting changes and press a button on the machine, or is there a start button in the app?

I just might have to get one of these.

I feel like coffee tastes different in my Pop
