I am eyeing this on Net Cost’s website, thinking about making potato chip caviar canapés. The price looks decent. However I can’t find any reviews online. Has anyone tried it? Would appreciate any feedback!

My personal fave for caviar is Pearl Street Caviar in Red Hook.
My caviar recommendations are: Ossetra Supreme, Double Jiro, Keluga Supreme, and (New) Ossetra Alpina which has an interesting story.
The owner, described it’s origin in southern Chile as within a body of water where hazelnuts grow on the shores and the hazelnut pollen coats the water like algae.
Really good food too, my new favorite local burger after having their burger then disgustingly walking in at Red Hook Tavern and getting their burger back to back for lunch last month.

I buy this brand of black caviar on a regular basis from the Rego Park location of Netcost. I never had any issues with quality. The amount is a bit small, however. I buy it is a gift for friends / clients. They also have red caviar in-store by weight. I buy both black and red caviar.
