Made in a cast iron skillet, but you could easily do this in the oven. DASH and Mediterranean diet approved. NOTE: I am not a dietician or strictly on these diets, but I have helped manage meals for loved ones and know that extreme changes to diet can be frustrating. I hope this recipe helps someone find warmth and comfort in healthful food.
How to:
In a preheated skillet on low or medium-low heat, heat a tablespoon of garlic, a tablespoon of pine nuts, and ½ tablespoon of sesame seeds in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil for 5-10 minutes (you'll start to smell the seeds). Add the tops of a whole head of broccoli to the skillet and turn the heat up to medium. Add olive oil if needed. Fry until the broccoli is tender and crisped a bit.
Remember to save that broccoli stalk! It's so easy to boil and blend to add some fiber to soups or pasta sauces.

This looks amazing! If you feel like you’re missing that carb “feel” you can also throw in some cannellini beans!
Like your recipe but I would steam the broccoli beforehand.
